About Jorge

I’m a fully bilingual English/Spanish Registered Psychologist who specializes in trauma, depression and substance use concerns.  I have specialized training in CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) modalities, EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy), MI (Motivational Interviewing), which are considered gold standard for treating clients who have experienced traumatic events.

I completed my BA in Psychology at the University of Alberta and my Master’s in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. I use my training to assist patients who have been involved in motor vehicle collisions, work injuries and various forms of addiction, including pornography, infidelity, and substance use concerns. I have experience working with first responders, healthcare providers and civilians who have experienced abandonment and emotional injuries.

I deliver my services virtually using a secure online platform that allows my patients to meet me from the comfort of their homes.
